Better With Brut, Beef Kabobs


  • 1 1/2 lbs of lean sirloin, trimmed and cut into 1″ cubes
  • 1 lb of fresh, whole mushrooms


  • 1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 3 tbsp of chopped shallots
  • 3 tbsp of fresh rosemary, stems removed, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp of minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of fresh ground pepper


Combine oil, vinegar, shallots, rosemary, garlic, salt and pepper. Whisk until
evenly mixed.

Pour the marinade over the meat in a plastic bag and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or up to 24 hours.

Preheat your grill to medium heat.

Skewer the beef and mushrooms. Depending on how much meat you have, skewer two pieces of beef for every one mushroom.

Cook the skewers over medium heat for approximately 5 minutes per side. Adjust
 the cook time to your taste – less time per side for rare/medium-rare, more time for well-done.
