Segura Viudas hand crafts distinctive, artisan méthode champenoise sparkling wines according to Cava traditions begun over 100 years ago. Steeped in rich Spanish heritage and situated on an estate that dates to the 11th century, Segura Viudas draws on this legacy, blending it with modern winemaking to create sophisticated yet approachable Cavas. The Segura Viudas wines come from the renowned Penedès region of Spain just outside of Barcelona. The ARIA line spotlights select vineyards, the romance that old-vine Parellada can produce, and low fermentation temperatures yielding delicacy, aroma and the signature grace of cuvées.
Pale, bright raspberry pink, with an abundant, uninhibited mousse. Intense raspberry aromas, backed by strawberry and aniseed, and a hint of cherry caramel. Red berry flavors dominate the palate, complemented by strawberry, touches of peach, watermelon and lemon. There is a lovely minerality which adds to the complexity, and just a hint of sweetness.
Beautiful as an aperitif. This wine can be served with smoked salmon, oysters, or grilled prawns. Excellent with Brie or Monterey Jack cheese.
"Copper rose. A rosé Brut made from 100% Pinot Noir is unusual in the Cava appellation. This one is creamy smooth with ripe red fruit and notes of earth and dried herbs. Very easy and pleasant drinking."

"A red-fruited Cava with clean scents of raspberries, this is gentle and peppery, ready to chill for seafood paella."

"Fresh, clean nectarine and cantaloupe aromas provide an inviting entrance, which is followed by a vital palate that has mild orange and nectarine flavors which are slightly sweet and friendly. Smooth, light and not at all aggressive on the finish."

"Cherry/berry aromas are light and nice, and come with some toast. Good in the mouth, with weight but freshness. Tastes a bit sweet and sugary, with toasty edges and a fi nish of cherry and chocolate. Good for normal rosé Cava."
