Segura Viudas ARIA Extra Dry

ARIA is a méthode champenoise sparkling wine from the Segura Viudas Estate in Torrelavit, in Spain's Alt Penedès region, and is styled after Segura Viudas' top-of-the-line cava, Reserva Heredad. This blend of only the first pressing of Macabeo provides a fine, honeyed aroma; the Parellada lends subtle elegance; while the Xarel-lo provides the backbone of the cava and gives both body and good acidity. Harvested somewhat earlier than usual from the higher elevations in the Penedès, the fruit in ARIA shows an appealing crispness of flavor

ARIA Estate Extra Dry embraces flavors of fresh pineapple, apples and pears, honey, caramel and a bit of citrus. It is fruity and well-balanced with a long off-dry finish.
